Hello there and welcome! Thanks for the new graphic on Wheel of the year - unfortunately Imbolc was mis-spelled ("Imbolic") so I've reverted to the old graphic. If you made the pic and can correct it, I'm sure it would be fine...

Duro Bag edit

Will look at it shortly, although my first impression is that it needs better referencing--SPhilbrickT 22:00, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry to say I'm not going to be very encouraging. On the positive side, the writing style is fine, and you've avoided an overly promotional tone evident in many drafts.

My concern is that there are very few references, and the two that you have are not exactly top tier publications.

I did a very cursory Google Search to see if something nice would turn up, but I didn't find anything that was helpful.

If this article goes live as is, I would not be surprised to see it challenged as not having sufficient references to support notability.

I do have three specific recommendations:

  • Your reference is a bare url wrapped in ref tags - acceptable to many, but it isn't hard to do better, See Referencing for beginners for a fairly easy way to improve the references
  • Where did the phrase "If you held a paper bag today, it was probably made by Duro." come from? With a reference, it is a positive, but you need to demonstrate that some independent source used it.
  • "Duro has a well-demonstrated record of environmental responsibility." This needs to be said by someone else. If you can't find someone else saying it,then it is Original Research.

Sorry, I wish I could be more positive, and I'm sorry you didn't get faster feedback - there's a major arbitration in progress and I'm distracted.--SPhilbrickT 23:01, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Feedback Response edit

Thank you for the feedback, I will correct the minor issues you indicated and try to find some additional supporting material. Our trouble is that the company, though privately owned, is the largest paper bag mfg in the world but they are a very quiet company. They even out-produce Weyerhauser. However, they are not good at public relations and self-promotion.

Good luck with your arbitration.
