Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Swami Rama, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. The New York Times is one of the sources and is clearly a reliable source. There is no policy or guideline based reason to remove information that In 1997, shortly after his death, a jury awarded the woman nearly $2 million in compensatory and punitive damages.
