Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Hawaiian Aye Aye may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Edit Summaries

edit

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. 220 of Borg 00:29, 1 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Collaboration

edit

Hello Garrejones44444777.
Remember that Wikipedia is a collaborative project. Editors are free to edit articles, but are expected to discuss differences of opinion. (see wp:BRD) Constantly re-adding material that is removed/reverted, such as at Warner Bros. Cartoons, may see you fall foul of edit warring guidelines. See particularly WP:3RR. Content Deletion

edit

Hello, I'm 220 of Borg. I noticed that you recently removed some content from The Jet Cage without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!

  • You have alleged that this cartoon was cancelled and removed a reliable source that contradicted that.
  • You have added content without providing any source.
  • You have not given any reason for these changes in the form of an Edit summary. 220 of Borg 14:29, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring

edit

Warning Garrejones44444777 you appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at The Jet Cage ‎. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you.

  • The edit warring was done after I left you a personal note (03:08, 1 October 2013) about the need for collaboration. This is very disappointing.

Unless you have a source for your claims that Person to Bunny was "cancelled," stop adding them to the article. Trivialist (talk) 00:14, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistent disruptive editing, as you did at Person to Bunny. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Drmies (talk) 22:23, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Uploading images

edit

Just a quick tip on uploading images: Fair use/nonfree images like screenshots from cartoons should be uploaded directly to Wikipedia, not to Wikimedia Commons; they have stricter copyright rules and don't allow such images. Trivialist (talk) 00:17, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Person to Bunny

edit

Look: If Person to Bunny was "cancelled," then it wouldn't have a lobby card or a release date. The studio wouldn't have thrown out a short just because some of the jokes were dated, because that would be a waste of their money and time.

If you have any evidence at all that this film was cancelled, please provide it. If you're sure that it was cancelled, but have no evidence, then you're just speculating, and Wikipedia is not the place for speculation.

If you have any questions, please contact me. Thanks. Trivialist (talk) 02:15, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding the article Person to Bunny. The thread is TweetiePie1947/Garrejones44444777. Thank you. Trivialist (talk) 02:38, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
