Repetitive linking

edit

Hello @GardeniaCake. I am @Archer1234. I have noticed your many, many edits to add links for languages. While I appreciate your eagerness to make these edits, I believe they are often contrary to Manual of Style guidelines on duplicate and repetivitive links. In a table, for example, we typically only link the first use of a term per table. You may also want to read the guideline on overlinking.

A couple of other comments I'd like to make regarding your editing approach. Firstly, you are making many small edits. For example, in Kavitha Nair‎‎, you made 48 edits in 18 minutes. This jugs up editors' watchlists with dozens of edits to review. Please try to consolidate similar edits to a single one that would have the same edit summary. I realize this is not always possible and, in some cases, not preferred, but I find the number of edits you've done as excessive.

Secondly, please include a meaningful and informative edit summary with each of your edits. While edit summaries can be terse, they should still be specific. Providing an edit summary similar to "I made some changes" is functionally equivalent to not providing a summary at all. You can read more about how to write an adequate edit summary (and what to avoid in writing them) at Help:Edit summary.

If you have any questions for me about this, you can ask them here or on my talk page. Alternatively, you can ask questions at the Teahouse, where experienced editors are available to answer questions. Thank you again for your passion and eagerness to help. Happy editing.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 01:43, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hey Archer1234. Thank you for bringing this up to me. I thought that every tiny edit needed to be saved before continuing to the next one, I do apologise I got a bit carried away. I will consolidate my edits from now on with a full summary of what I did, to make it easier for other editors. GardeniaCake (talk) 11:48, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Krissy Stanley

edit

Hello, GardeniaCake,

Thank you for creating Krissy Stanley.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

We would need to see some significant pieces on her as the main topic in high quality national sources to confirm notability. I searched but could not find any such pieces on her in the Australian mainstream media (and nothing outside of Australia)? thanks.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Aszx5000}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.
