File:FurElise.ogg nice piece! Can you release under CC0-1.0-Universal?

edit

Hi. I liked your piece at https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/File:FurElise.ogg

I liked the music and I noticed that you released it as Public Domain in the USA. Can you release it for us Europeans too under http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/? Public Domain is not accepted yet in the European Union to which I am part of which is the reason Creative Commons made CC0 so it can apply to as many countries of the world as possible(not only EU). If you wish to release them for us too I would be happy. Logictheo (talk) 00:41, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi again. What I said before may be incorrect, but still I only ask you to also release it under CC0 so more people of the world can get your work. Else it will only be "Public Domain" in the USA...not where I live... Logictheo (talk) 21:30, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Just adding that you are lucky living in the USA, in regard to public domain. Your laws allow someone to just say "My work is in the Public Domain" and so it becomes, while in my part of the world it is not that easy, and is (I believe) legally invalid or not recognised. In Greece there is no such thing as "Public Domain". Logictheo (talk) 21:34, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hello, sorry it took me so long to do this. Could you check if I did it correctly? Gaodifan (talk) 02:44, 4 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:VanceCzechRep.jpg

edit

The file File:VanceCzechRep.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned personal image, no foreseeable use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
