Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, GanGsin. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Bin Weevils, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Eni vak (speak) 17:36, 17 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

August 2019 edit

  Hello, I'm Enivak. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bin Weevils, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Sorry, this is not my rules, but Wikipedia's, so we all must do what they say. And, as i mentioned in the previous message, if you have a COI, you shall disclose it. Eni vak (speak) 20:05, 18 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello! I see you provided an website, but i keep reverting them because you just mention the source on the edit summary; you must wp:cite it using the Reference template or the "cite" button (the latter only on the Visual editor, the former only in the nrmal editor). Thanks, Eni vak (speak) 16:35, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Bin Weevils. Wikipedia is not a collection of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —MelbourneStartalk 12:57, 21 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi there! I see you have learned to use the template, i accepted your edits. Keep up the great work! (sorry for telling that, but it seems a little weird that your most edits are on that article. You should consider also editing in other articles, because maybe sometime an admin may think you're paid for that; but,so long as you edits have no problems, you're ok.) Oi Mate edit

There is still something wrong with the Moshi Monsters article. It's at the bottom of the page, and I've realized that it is a Discovery Kids show. Please help improve that article if you can! 95.144.200.155 (talk) 22:05, 12 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
