I like the images but they are a little hard to understand without the context of the full page. I think the graphs that you added are helpful in better understanding the process. I especially like how you included graphs for both the stably strat. case and the unstably strat. cases. I think if you wanted to improve it you could show the same graphs for parcels with different inital densities to establish the connection between N and density.
