Norimitsu edit

I'm wondering if you know if you know if the references on this article gives any evidence for Norimitsu's Korean ethnicity besides the fact that the Japanese right sees him as being biased. It seems that the only reason why Norimitsu is being accused of being an ethnic Korean is because of his perceived politics.Melonbarmonster 02:30, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree. But so far, my attempts to dig some underpinnings up about his ethnicity have all failed. But I'll keep trying. By the way, I'm really sick and tired of those narrow-sighted hawks honestly. It sometimes seems impossible to persuade them in any logical way. They all look to be galvanized by anger. --Galaksiafervojo 02:15, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I think the discussion on this has pretty much run its course. saintjst is just stuck on arguing about the article which really doesn't affect the reasons that this should be left out of the article: inappropriate level of detail, the POV lean of the article, and contentiousness. The edit should be made or steps taken to have a vote or bring in a mediator.Melonbarmonster 04:28, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
You are right, his opinion is highly subjective from my point of view, too and he looks just stick to it. But It's still weak because only 3 agreed that view including us. We need other guys' opinions, or it makes us look rahter like bullies, exploiting the number with only slight advance. I provided another source to arouse the concern about the racism in Japan so see what happens. I don't think it's too late even after a week or two. If nothing's happening, then bring mediators, shall we? --Galaksiafervojo 09:42, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I made the edits after Saintjust didn't respond for 5 days after my request for objections or comments in the latest section of the Norimitsu Onishi talk page. Saintjust was responding to our request to stop his personal attacks and that one article rather than dealing with issues of NPOV slant, inappropriate level of detail and contentiousness. He's joined only after I alerted him after the edits were already made and he's been unilaterally making edits while demanding that I give source for ridiculous claims I never made. I don't know if too many people are interested in this topic and I don't think this guy is interested in an honest discussion to be honest. I've alerted him to WIKI policy against WP:ED and asked him to not make unilateral edits. Let me know when you think we should seek an arbitrator.Melonbarmonster 04:37, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think we should take a break for a little while following the step two of WP:DR. A week or two is long enough, I guess. After that period and still no new attendants, we should call arbitrator like WP:AMA as you suggest. Sadly,he's still sticking persistently to what looks nonsense for us, so no more argument would be of no use. --Galaksiafervojo 06:06, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Could use your help on another project edit

I'm building GFDL-available baseball content on another wiki, focusing on both MLB and NPB. Can you help? --DNL 15:42, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Possibly. But I've gotta work on the thesis to graduate this summer, so I'm not sure how much I can contribute. --Galaksiafervojo 17:07, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
