ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Gaia Octavia Agrippa. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Olney

I think at one point the side-box said her husband was Ben Olney. She herself, as you rightly observe, did not! Which gives me great comfort. The times are changing, but we do not necessarily have to change with them. Protozoon (talk) 05:17, 2 December 2016 (UTC)

December 2016

Hello, I'm John. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --John (talk) 09:30, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

Could you please provide some kind of argument/evidence backing up your position? As I've stated above, WP:BLPSOURCES refers to tabloid journalism not tabloids. This is stop people using the typical gossip articles that the tabloids publish, eg "Did Brad Pitt have an AFFAIR with Marion Cotillard? [1]". It is not a stop on all use of tabloid newspaper articles. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 12:23, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
Your interpretation of WP:BLPSOURCES is interesting and novel. It would definitely be worth getting consensus at WP:BLPN before restoring this material. Most people would accept that the Sun is a tabloid that should never be used on BLPs. --John (talk) 12:30, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
John, before I move it over there, could you please explain your argument? I have explained mine. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 12:38, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

Review?

Gaia Octavia Agrippina salve! I wish to introduce a new article, of biography. Would you like to review it? It would be my fourth, and the first male. I wasn't really feeling the love on the previous three... It is a beautiful morning where I am, and I am therefore ready to let WP introduce its usual intemperence. Thank you.
