- Well, according to the username policy, "usernames that unambiguously represent the name of a company, group, institution or product" are considered promotional – even if your blog is not commercial. On a related note, your entry at the Copyright notice board may have been well-intentioned but please note that this board is only for Wikipedia-internal copyright inquiries. - I don't see how a personal blog is "a company, group, institution or product"? To reach such a conclusion would require one to bend the natural meaning of the words rather a lot... Gabrielquotes (talk) 19:38, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
- Isn't the purpose of a weblog to publicly share one's thoughts and experiences? A blog is a public diary and/or collection of comments which makes it a product that is meant to be viewed by others. - Yes, I think we're disagreeing on this matter. Nonetheless I'd like you to know that new accounts are frequently blocked because of their name representing a website, be it commercial or personal.
