Econ Data

Where did you find this bizare collection of economic indicators? They do not to conform to reality. Vox Populi (TSO)

You mean your reality. We are in 2006 not in 2003!--GDP 20:52, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
No, I'm serious, where exactly did you gather this non-sense? According to the map for instance, the GDP per capita of Moldova is greater than $5000. Considering that virtually all sources put this value at around 2300 dollars in 2005, the value must have doubled in the last few months to validate your data. This is simply impossible. I don't understand how you came up with this map but it simply is not accurate and I believe that the rest of the data you use is equally suspicious. Vox Populi (TSO) 21:59, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that's because it's about the PPP GDP. The one expressed as Purchasing Power Parity. --GDP 07:50, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Do you even know what that is? You repeat that as though it was the key to unlocking the secret here. There is simply no way the GDP per capita could have doubled nominally or by PPP. I looked at the difference between the real GDP per cap distribution map and yours and the only differences I saw were for Romania and Moldova both of which magically acquired superior qualities, and which are improbable for the first and impossible for the second. This is an encycopedia, its purpose is not to provide an arena where you can paint a roisier picture of the two states. Vox Populi (TSO) 15:36, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
