A-Heads nominated for speedy deletion

edit

I've nominated this article for speedy deletion because the band don't seem to meet any of the criteria in WP:MUSIC. I've googled them as best I can and can find no evidence of sufficient notability. If you can add this evidence, please do so.

By the way, I've made some (positive, I hope) changes to Disrupters. This band certainly pass WP:MUSIC in my opinion, and your content is the start of a good article. Please keep contributing! Colonel Tom 00:16, 17 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I have removed the links to the distro you recently added to the Aus Rotten, Amebix, and AntiSect articles. I share your enthusiasm for the bands, but...

Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. See the welcome page to learn more. Thanks. - Politepunk 08:10, 17 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tips on article creation

edit

An article you created, Anti-System, has been nominated for deletion. From the text you provided, they may be notable and therefore would meet WP:MUSIC, but this is unclear from the article. I'd direct you to the current format of another article you created, Disrupters. The text is informative and the band's recordings are listed in an acceptable format. If you want to assist Anti-System's retention, please revisit it and provide evidence of notability; a good example would be to note if they issued any releases on the Crass label or another notable label. Other articles you start would also benefit from this approach. See WP:MoS for more information on style / formatting. With thanks and wishing you happy editing, Colonel Tom 02:20, 19 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Exitstance

edit

The article Exitstance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unref article on living people; no evidence of meting WP:BAND or WP:GNG, despite being tagged for over six years.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Disrupters

edit

The article Disrupters has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article makes no assertion of notability, and appears to be entirely WP:OR. I am unable to find any further reliable sources that could be added to the page. It appears the subject does not meet the WP:GNG or WP:BAND.
