Warning edit

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. --Kansas Bear (talk) 21:50, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Night Attack At Targovişte edit

Bro who are you? Everyone thinks that you are me and they try to impose a penalty policy on me by opening discussion pages about me. Please don't interfere with my edits or they will delete more resources I added and they will ban me. If there is something you want to change, consult me and tell me and I will try to add that source. Keremmaarda (talk) 00:04, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Like you, I am a researcher about Fatih Sultan Mehmet. I am trying to correct the mistakes written about Fatih Sultan Mehmet in Wikipedia, my aim is just this. And I already use resources in every change. But I did not know that there was such a thing. I apologize. I will not edit it again. Göktuğ538538 (talk) 08:32, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

September 2023 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:39, 1 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Why did you block? My aim is not to make a fiction war, I just want to show the event correctly by citing the source. I have finished dozens of books about Fatih Sultan Mehmet. Is it wrong to try to right the wrongs written about him? I cite sources for everything I say. They don't look. They keep changing the page, the sources are not even reviewed. What's my fault? I'm just correcting the wrong Göktuğ538538 (talk) 23:24, 1 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't think I'm wrong. I apologize if I really made a mistake, but don't you need to warn those who change the page without giving any reference, even though I give the source? Göktuğ538538 (talk) 23:26, 1 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have seen your questions, but I find them answered by my block message well enough already. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:59, 1 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
then ok. I'm really sorry, I just joined wikipedia so I may have mistakes, please unblock me. I won't do such nonsense again. I want to support wikipedia too. Thank you. Göktuğ538538 (talk) 00:37, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Yes, unfortunately, I just joined wikipedia so I didn't know some rules, so I made such mistakes. Sorry, I won't be changing pages without consensus again. I request By ToBeFree to unblock me as soon as possible. Thanks. Göktuğ538538 (talk) 00:46, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ok. I have already reviewed the Wikipedia rules. I will never do anything wrong again. If someone objects to my opinion, I will discuss it with him on the talk page and change the page after consensus is reached. I won't do this again anyway. The reason I did it before is because I just joined wikipedia and I don't know the rules. I request that the blocking be removed as soon as possible, thanks Göktuğ538538 (talk) 12:28, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

While not fully convinced that the issue won't reoccur (or actually convinced that it will), I'm fine with an unblock to allow Göktuğ538538 to prove me wrong. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 13:49, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

You reported me, didn't you? You are nothing but a nationalist Hungarian, why did you report me on the talk page without writing a proper answer? Göktuğ538538 (talk) 16:46, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

September 2023 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for edit warring, as you did at Siege of Güns. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

We were already discussing on the talk page, why are you blocking? We have almost reached an agreement, what is the reason for you to block? Göktuğ538538 (talk) 16:08, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't think I did anything that requires blocking. I apologize if I made a mistake, but we were already discussing this issue on the talk page? Even though I invited them to discuss, they did not respond and kept changing what I wrote, so I changed it. But in the end, we discussed on the Discussion page and we almost reached the conclusion. I don't think I did anything to get blocked. Please unblock me, I didn't do anything wrong. Göktuğ538538 (talk) 16:07, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

I didn't make a mistake. I stated the situation by giving a source about the siege of Güns. But when my friends deleted what I wrote without giving a source and before they came to the discussion page, I rewrote it and invited them to the discussion page. If you look, I told them that they should come to the discussion page and that we should talk about the subject. Finally they came and I discussed with them on the discussion page. We almost came to a conclusion. What is my fault in this situation? I invited them to the discussion page but they did not come and deleted what I wrote, so I wrote back. Is this an editing war, Moderator?? Göktuğ538538 (talk) 16:43, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

And thanks to this edit, I've increased the block length to indefinite. Personal attacks are never allowed, and doing it while disputing a block is generally unwise. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 19:37, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
