Speedy deletion of Victoria Manor edit

A tag has been placed on Victoria Manor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

Victoria Manor edit

Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed you have created a page on the band Victoria Manor. While Wikipedia appreciates new content, the articles have to be about something or someone which has achieved a fairly substantial amount of fame. The specific guideline on bands can be found at WP:BAND. The article you created does not seem to show any media coverage or critical reviews, or other evidence of notability. That is, I think, the reason it has been deleted several times. If you have any questions, feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page, User_talk:TeaDrinker. Thanks again for the interest in the project. --TeaDrinker (talk) 02:11, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the note, although I am not sure I understand. Please check over WP:BAND. If you think that Victoria Manor meets the criteria there, let me know. With regard to admins having secret pages, you might be referring to userpages, which are in the User namespace (the title starts with "User:"). In fact all registered users (admin or not) may have a user page (mine, for instance, is User:TeaDrinker; yours is User:FutureAirways). They are for describing yourself and you editing interests in Wikipedia (see WP:USER for more details). Thanks and let me know if you have any questions. --TeaDrinker (talk) 02:27, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:21, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
