Award

Thank you kind sir. Since being promoted yesterday I was suprised to find out that AIV has a suprisingly large backlog... I figured it might be a popular activity for bored admins. Anyway, thanks again AdamBiswanger1 21:12, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks muchly!

Thanks for reverting the changes the anonymous user made to Finnish Paganism. I know I'm not done with the grammar check, but perhaps that person should have learnt their grammar better before they corrected that of a native speaker! Thanks again, Stercus.caput 15:50, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi There!

I got a message saying some change I made to someone's user page was vandalism (Mangalpanday, I believe it was) but I don't recall what changes I made other than to add an apostrophe. Just lemme know what's up, maybe I did something offensive and din't realise or don't recall. Send me another of those funky messages or leave a note on theplebianking's user page. Thanks!

Cool

Seeing as you deleted the last little message I wrote, I assume you don't really like them being left here; unfortunately I know of no other way to contact you so, sorry. Feel free to delete this one too, I guess? Aanyway, ha, forgot I added that. Thanks.

PS I thought it was funny.

Happy Belated Birthday!

JAKAZiD

Please see: User_talk:The_Thing_That_Should_Not_Be#Vandal_on_my_talk_page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.168.245.84 (talk) 17:18, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Regarding this addition, I agree with TTTSNB. This information is not properly sourced. additionally, wikipedia frowns upon having Trivia sections. If you can cite a source (verifiable), we would gladly incorporate it into the article. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk) 17:25, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Here is a link which i found: http://thehobbyscene.blogspot.com/2010/03/jakazid-is-gay.html please readd the trivia, thank you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.168.245.84 (talk) 17:33, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

To our newest Rollbacker

I have just granted you rollback rights because I believe you to be trustworthy, and because you have a history of reverting vandalism and have given in the past or are trusted in the future to give appropriate warnings. Please have a read over WP:ROLLBACK and remember that rollback is only for use against obvious vandalism. Please use it that way (it can be taken away by any admin at a moment's notice). You may want to consider adding {{Rollback}} and {{User rollback}} to your userpage. Any questions, please drop me a line. Best of luck and thanks for volunteering!   upstateNYer 03:10, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for Your Intervention on Diet In Sikhism

Thanks for your intervention. I have reported this to the admin Nancy.--Sikh-History 17:11, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

What are you talking about?

That was not an unconstructive edit. Boak actually means vomit. Its a legitimate redirect. 128.237.247.47 (talk) 17:18, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

That was for solving a content dispute. What did i do wrong with the talk page edit? 128.237.247.47 (talk) 17:34, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Why are you so trigger happy with the rollback button? And why aren't you responding? 128.237.247.47 (talk) 17:37, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Well, I happen to have a job, and I can't spend all my time on wikipedia. I may have made a mistake, but as JHunterJ mentioned, it should be listed in the article on vomit. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk) 01:16, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

I was more refering to when you reverted the talk page attempt to resolve a dispute, but whatever... 128.237.247.47 (talk) 02:25, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

i apologize

iam deeply sorry please dont report me i admit to everything —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.128.97.35 (talk) 02:20, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

As long as you don't continue, I won't report you. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk) 02:34, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Cobalt

To who it may concern

I am deeply offended that you chose to delete my report on Kevan Walls achievement. It does not appear that you conducted any research whatsoever on this topic, you simply decided to delete it. I am glad that all editors are not like you.

Sincerely (unsigned)

A Kevan Walls from Ontario exists, but from a search has no notable achievements. If you were to reference a source, I would gladly revert myself. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk) 02:32, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

I am deeply offended that chose to call me an idiot. There is no call to use such harsh language on a person you have never met in person or shared intellectual dialogue with. I have never referred to you once as an "Idiot" and hope that you will consider your choice of words more carefully in the future.

Sincerely, Mark Pine —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.39.26.67 (talk) 02:27, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

I don't believe that I ever called you an idiot. If you could show me where, I would apologize. Otherwise, please refrain from making false allegations. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk) 02:32, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

I am very dissapointed in the use of underhanded tactics in which a comment that you clearly posted on this page is now "conveniently" removed from view. I didn't realize that a person such as myself would have to resort to taking immediate screen shots in order to prove the appearance of questionable language unbecoming of a person named Nicholas (Named after the patron Saint). I guess when you are 17 years 3 months and 7 days old, you have loads of time on your hands to a.) Slander honest wikipedia contributors, and b.) cover you tracks when someone calls you out. I mean I realize you suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and the cats have not let you out to go to the bathroom in a while somewhere in Conneticut...but come on... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.39.26.67 (talk) 02:43, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Once again, there is nowhere in which I called you an idiot. And if I did, please link me the article/revision in which I did. Otherwise, I will assume this is a personal attack. WP:NPA
I was asked by Funnyfarmofdoom to comment here (assumedly as an admin, but possibly not). To IP 65.39.26.67, FunnyFarm never called you an idiot. That edit was made by another IP (71.94.9.107), which was assumedly calling FunnyFarm an idiot. The IP later called FunnyFarm a dick. Both times, it was under a separate section heading below your comments, therefore separate. As for the addition of Kevan Wall to Cobalt, Ontario, FunnyFarm is correct in removing this content. The addition was unsourced and mainly uninteresting for an article on an entire town (plus it's redlinked, which in this case is a no-no; see WP:REDLINKS). Additionally, the achievement of having a BE is irrelevant to the statement, and receiving the key to the city for eating quickly is hardly notable enough for a Wikipedia article (plus, something makes me think this Kevan Wall may actually be you or one of your friends; call me crazy). If you'd like to see what a high quality article on a town or city should look like, see Hamilton, Ontario, which is a Featured Article (i.e. one of our best). Note that it doesn't even have a list of notable residents. Good articles will either not need them or will only mention them (i.e. not list them) when they are extremely famous. Hopefully this clears things up with you two. Happy editing. upstateNYer 03:21, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

4im warning

You should use 4im vandalism templates on edits like the one at the Academy awards page. You are using Huggle, where 4im templates can be accessed via the revert and warn menu> advanced. Thx. ManishEarthTalkStalk 04:49, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks.

Thank you for reverting the vandalism done to my userpage. - Zhang He (talk) 16:53, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Fez game page

I just tried to change the video game "Fez" to its new name "Fedge" and i was denied. This is a significant change in my opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.252.138.232 (talk) 05:10, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

I went ahead and searched for a source to verify this change, but sites like gamespot still list it as Fez. If you can find a valid source, please go ahead and change it. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk) 05:14, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Paul Wright (Cyclo-Cross)

Hello Funnyfarmofdoom. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Paul Wright (Cyclo-Cross), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. PeterSymonds (talk) 18:46, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

Cholila, Argentina

Speedy deletion declined: Eardley Elementary School

Hello Funnyfarmofdoom. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Eardley Elementary School, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to schools. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:23, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Yakatarla

Hello Funnyfarmofdoom. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Yakatarla, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There's sufficient context to identify the subject of the article including the specific location. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 04:20, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion removed for various minor-league baseball team articles

I have removed the speedy-delete notices for the three articles about Class D minor league baseball teams that you placed. Teams that are or were part of the officially-sanctioned Minor League Baseball system are generally considered to be notable enough for their own articles. These articles need a lot of work, as they are essentially just stubs right now (except for one), but they aren't speedy-worthy. Give the guy some time to work on them. (And I say this as a confirmed deletionist.) - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:01, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
