August 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Joseph G. Gall, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:07, 13 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Congratulations to Prof Gall on his retirement, but Wikipedia is NOT the place for posting what amounts to social notes: unless this particular celebration makes the news or some other reliable source, it doesn't belong here.
Also, do you have some reliable source -- news item, notice in trade journal, etc -- marking Prof Gall's retirement? --Calton | Talk 19:15, 13 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
