Marc Morrone

edit

Regarding the notablity of Marc Morrone (whose article I started, worth noting if the issue of bias comes up), according to Wikipedia:Notability (people), he's probably notable. One of the points is "The person has been the primary subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the person. (Multiple similar stories describing a single day's news event only count as one coverage.)". Morrone has been the subject of several news articles, including one by the New York Times and another by the Long Island Journal. See http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/subjects/t/television/index.html?query=MORRONE,%20MARC&field=per&match=exact. In addition, he's the host of television show that's nationally syndicated in the United States and produced by a large media company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. If there's any other issues, reply back on my talk page. Thanks. --Jtalledo (talk) 23:34, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
