Orphaned non-free media (Image:Palingoogle.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Palingoogle.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:26, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Ballyshannon

STOP EDITING THE BALLYSHANNON ARTICLE, YOU DO NOT EVEN LIVE IN BALLYSHANNON BUT I DO SO MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, ITS IS NOT EFFECTING YOU, I AM JUST TRYING TO IMPROVE THE ARTICLE, I THOUGHT THE BALLYSHANNON ARTICLE WAS CONSIDERED OF LOW INPORTANCE —Preceding unsigned comment added by John-joe123 (talkcontribs) 12:06, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Whether I live in Ballyshannon or not is irrelevant (and I don't know how you can tell whether I live there or not, since I don't say where in Ireland I am). Wikipedia is not the place for a selective list of 12 or 13 year old students. If I don't revert it then someone else will, I'm afraid. Wikipedians don't tend to "MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS", it's kinda against how we work: Collaboratively. Fribbler (talk) 18:41, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi Fribbler, Thanks for your edit contribution to my article. I’ve explained my reasoning for the original reference on my Talk page and the articles Talk page. I’m now seeking consensus and opinions. Any further contributions would be most welcome. Regards..Stephen2nd (talk) 13:53, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Dundalk

Great. You're absolutely right, I think the best thing for the article is a total rewrite and complete restructuring. The only section that is salvageable is the lead paragraph and the History section, though I'd suggest that we link to an entirely new page on the History of Dundalk. Infrastructure and Sport will have to be expanded, sub-headings (road, rail; rugby, football, dog & horse racing and so on), and new sections on Architecture, Geography, Politics, Demographics (to straighten out that "who has the largest population nonsense") and Economy could also be added. Any other ideas? I'll try and make a start on it this evening. Belacqua Shuah (talk) 11:47, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
