Hello, I'm User4edits. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Lovely Professional University have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Thanks, Please feel free to ping/mention -- User4edits (T) 01:57, 3 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi FrenchSteel! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thanks for adding references to this article. Sorry about that, i'll keep it in mind next time. FrenchSteel (talk) 13:46, 3 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Lovely Professional University. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Please see this talk page.
