Welcome template

edit

Just any FYI, I made a minor fix to your welcome template as you did not close off the <div> tag. That caused your welcome template formatting to flow into comments that followed after your template.

One suggestion that I have for you is that you should substitute your welcome template with {{subst:User:Freezing in Wisconsin/Welcome}} instead of transcluding it. That way any changes you make to the template stick to the newly welcomed editor's page. It's how all of the other welcome templates are used. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:56, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

No problem. =) It's up to you if you want to go back and subst the ones that you already did. It's probably a good idea, but not strictly necessary. =) One reason you might want to is that some new editors might stumble on your welcome template, edit it by accident trying to leave you a message, and then their changes propagates to everybody else. It sounds strange, but I've seen similar things happen. =) -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:10, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
