Hello Fred. Just a few things......
- 1) You left your note on my User page. It should have been attached to the bottom of my talk page by starting a new thread...using ==. I have moved it to my talk page. I think the best way to learn is to check out the edit pages and then mimic what previous editors have done to achieve whatever move it is that you want to accomplish. I suggest you visit my User and talk page to get a primary understanding of what I have done.
- 2) If you will notice I bracketed the article name. This created a link to the article in question. I also bracketed the name here in the thread name above (it's blue). I visited the page, to get an idea of your situation. I'm at a loss to find the exact problem. A diff would surely help. But then you are new and unaware of what a diff is or how to highlight one. I understand.
The best advice I can give you is to be calm and learn a bit about editing at Wikipedia before you jump into a confrontation with another editor. I realize that this is an important topic for you and it bothers you that it is "just not right". But a little self-education now will serve you well in the long run. See it like this; you just got your drivers learners permit, and you want to get on one of the major traffic-laden highways and go 90 miles an hour. Before you crash and burn...wander around the multi-levels of Wikipedia first. Visit all the pages that are linked in the Welcome above. Educate yourself. Check out user pages and article talk pages. Notice how other editors do their job. The situation that troubles you will still be there in a week...or not. Read the article talk page and get a sense of anotherr editor that may be better equiped to assist you. But first...Learn! ```Buster Seven Talk 14:08, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Actually I think it best that I leave it where it is....just keep in mind that you are the only source anywhere on this planet that carries an article or information about the modern existence of Assyrians...the only one. You won't find it in the Britannica, or any other history book....but your concern is that; I should learn! I should learn how to use your program...never mind what's there, so long as we don't frighten the women and horses.
You will not find anything "wrong" with that section because it "looks right"...even though it is filled with uncited sources and on and on.
I never could understand Wikipedia, but at least now I know why you exist...it isn't to purvey "knowledge"...it is to allow amateurs, who could not get a paying job in the industry, the chance to skip all those "pesky" requirements and move right in to writing articles, and editing, and having chats, and having it all look just right.
I never came to Wikipedia for information and I certainly won't in the future...and I know what to say when someone lists you as a source.
If you had bothered to read one paragraph quoted from Dr. Joseph's book you would have realized the truth of what I am trying to tell you....these are not my ideas or opinions, they are the words of a noted scholar on the subject, a retired professor, Emeritus, with 30 years of teaching and two published books on the subject plus many articles in academic journals.
And you only concern was that I learn how to use your program.

One Last Thing....
Here is what your administration has placed at the top of the "Assyrians" page:
"This article needs attention from an expert on the subject. Please add a reason or a talk parameter to this template to explain the issue with the article. WikiProject Assyria may be able to help recruit an expert. (June 2011)"
What do you mean by this? No one is arguing with the accuracy of the first part of the article; on the ancient Assyrians. There are plenty of "experts" listed and sources cited. The problem comes when those who wrote the article, all of them "Assyrians", neatly segued into the existence of modern Assyrians. I assumed it was with THAT part of the article that your administration was seeking an expert's help. Well, I brought you one, one recognized as such by others in this field. It is admittedly en esoteric field, Not many people know of the claimed existence of Assyrians and even less study it, as a matter of history, not self-proclaimed myth. Assyriologists are expert in the history of ancient Assyrians, their field does not include modern Assyrian claims. Dr. Joseph has written two books, as an historian and expert on the existence of modern Assyrians and he explains how they are mistaken, with cited sources, and why this Christian sect has decided to make this claim. - Hello and thank you for stopping by my talkpage. I think that editors Buster Seven and Tyrannus Mundi have offered sound advice so I won't have much to add. The template you're referring to is asking for a wikipedia editor, who is an expert in the field, to edit the page. The reason for this is that experienced wikipedia editors understand how to deal with controversial material, in general, how to reference appropriately, and how to remain calm on talk pages. If you are seeking additional suggestions, the Teahouse hosts may have some recommendations, so you might consider leaving a question there. Hope this was helpful. ....I have absolutely no interest in joining your editors...the best thing you have taught me was what I suspected and others already know; that Wikipedia is the last place any serious person would look for accurate information. You are so impressed with your wiki-ness, your wiki-templates, your wiki-teas that you miss the entire point of what accurate knowledge (not wiki-knowledge), reliable knowledge is about...no reputable encyclopedia uses amateur volunteers...much less do they depend on other amateur volunteers to check the accuracy of the first set of amateur volunteers. By the time someone contacts all of you and talks it over with you and has tea with all of you and learns your templates and reaches consensus with all of you, especially in areas where you are ignorant yourselves, the damage has been done...misinformation has been spread out there without your administration much giving a damn,..."we'll wiki-fix it later", is your attitude...not only has your horse left your barn, but you shot and killed it and THEN locked the door.
..this is an ideal location for pedants...in fact you define the word perfectly.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button 
or 
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Obsession with Assyrian people edit
Hi Fred, Talk pages are used for discussing ways to improve articles. Your "Assyrian martyrs" and other satirical stories don't belong there. You mentioned you had a scholarly reference that supports your claim that the page should be deleted and I told you to start a request at WP:AFD. Adding huge excerpts of John Joseph's book every now and then is what people call Trolling, please refrain from doing this.--Rafy talk 18:15, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
