Wikipedia and copyright

All or some of your addition(s) to Murder Incorporated (Bruce Springsteen) have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. Status Quo song articles
editHello, and thanks for your contributions. However, your recent creation of Status Quo songs raises issues with WP policy. If a song is independently notable, has in-depth coverage in reliable sources, is a charting single, etc, then there is a good argument for it requiring an article. However, non-singles which are merely played often by the band live or appear on a best of compilation do not pass the notability requirements for WP. It's nothing against Status Quo, it's just that many major songs by bands are not included - bands like the Doors, Rolling Stones, etc. I hope this makes sense - that's why I re-directed your articles to the band's page.
