Please edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

WP:TALKDONTREVERT - Please do not disrupt an ongoing discussion by removing content in dispute before you have a consensus, especially when the content is in perfect accordance with WP policies and guidelines. Aditya(talkcontribs) 18:10, 14 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Edits on Indian subcontinent edit

I think it would probably be a good idea to start an RfC on the talk page instead of continuing to revert on the article. It's nearing 3RR territory for you and Aditya Kabir. { } 22:11, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for March 12 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Haplogroup G-M201, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Richard Stockton. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:10, 12 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

"Significant Minority" @ Pashtuns edit

I deleted the term "significant" from minority. As no source has been provided previously to justify the statement. Regards PashtoPromoter (talk) 11:54, 3 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

sayed dynasty. (Dehli sultanat) edit

Hi I think it is important to inform you that there is POV pushing in sayed dynasty article. Despite the fact that i presented all sources and reasons, that why mention of Afghan is VERY necessary in origin section the user keeps deleting it. Can you please see through edit history and then talk page and try to fix it. thank you

Hi again.

Sorry to bother you again but since you edit sub-continents history and is informed about topics, i have to remind you about sayed dynasty (dehli sultanat). As you might have seen it before i presented the sources and informed him that there is not much data about the origins of sayeds (which makes my sources even more important). He keeps deleting my sources and edits, asking for more source? I hope this time you react, see the edit history and discussion on talk page, and then edit it in a way you think is right. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.211.44.191 (talk) 17:08, 28 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove the content edit

Please do not remove content, as you did at Pahari people (Kashmir)- subtitles 'Affirmative actions' -'Lehnda' , without citing a reliable source. Please do not violate guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pauljemes (talkcontribs) 07:57, 13 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

User:Pauljemes What are you talking about? Why would you need any reference to remove unsourced content? That doesn't make sense. Oliver (who I suspect may be your sock puppet) should have provided an edit summary and sourced his content. I only reverted what was reinstated without reference. Foxhound03 (talk) 10:13, 13 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

I only said why are you projecting the term 'Lehnda' as 'PAHARI'? instead of western Punjabi. Lehanda is a well-defined term in linguistic studies.Who is this Oliver I don't know? But, all such content should be factually accurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pauljemes (talkcontribs) 15:40, 13 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

User:Pauljemes What am I projecting? Lahnda can be further broken down into Hindko, Seraiki and Pahari-Pothwari. The lede of the page provides both definitions and its reflected in the article. I had even provided the language code which you ignored. Stop with this amateur and disruptive editing. Foxhound03 (talk) 15:49, 13 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
