Look up requests. edit

Can some with a card please look up the names of R. C. Sherriff's 1st and 5th plays in The Oxford Companion to English Literature (or other available reference)? -- Jeandré, 2007-01-06t00:50z

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a complete list available. Relevant extracts are at /RC Sherriff - Foxhill 20:43, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Many thanks. The search for his pre 1928 works continues. -- Jeandré, 2007-01-07t19:22z

Leicestershire edit

Hi - this is a great resource for researchers - thanks - but your info re online resources available at Leicestershire libraries is out of date - they currently offer access to KnowUK and NewsUK - see here - thanks Georgethe23rd 11:28, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Middlesbrough edit

Wow, stunning! I popped in to moan about spelling and got completely diverted. What a great resource. To discover for example that Haringey library users can get Grove online is a big deal to me, thanks!

Er so what was I originally on about? Oh yes, it's Middlesbrough not Middlesborough (unless you are in Kentucky) and I wondered if you would please consider changing it, what with you being an information-y sort of person? Thanks! Changed it for you: hope you don't mind. Thanks and best wishes, DisillusionedBitterAndKnackered (talk) 01:58, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Moving this to the Wikipedia namespace edit

This is a really great table and it's provided very useful to me when finding sources, but with Foxhill having made no edits since 2008, maybe this could be moved (or copied) to Wikipedia:? I think many more people could then find this great resource, as well as contributing more to fix out of date information. (pinging DisillusionedBitterAndKnackered and DavidCane because they seem to have contributed a bit) — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 15:40, 21 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Berrely for the ping and, yes, absolutely: great idea. More eyes and more ideas will keep it current: I know it has drifted a bit over the years so it would be wonderful to have it being maintained. Best wishes to all DBaK (talk) 16:21, 21 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
