Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that recently you carried out a copy and paste page move from Tom's Hardware Guide. Please do not move articles by copying and pasting them because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself using the move link at the top of the page, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. I agree the new name may be the correct one. But my point is that for attribution purposes you must not move the content from Tom's Hardware Guide to Tom's Hardware by cutting and pasting . I'd suggest requesting the move at Wikipedia:Requested moves. It's very simple and will take almost no time. An admin will likely complete the move relatively soon. They seem to have changed their name. I certainly remember it being "Tom's Hardware Guide." Probably done when they did a website makeover. Also, please sign your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). -- Flyguy649 talk contribs 17:12, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
You're probably getting sick of the orange bar at the top of the page due to me leaving you notes ;) I don't know if you saw, but I posted about the proposed page renaming at Talk:Tom's Hardware Guide. It shouldn't be an issue, so I'll request the move tomorrow. If you have questions about how things work at Wikipedia in the future, please feel free to drop me a note! Cheers, Flyguy649 talk contribs 17:23, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I requested the page move. It was done a couple of hours later [1]. -- Flyguy649 talk contribs 13:51, 19 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
