The Taino were the Native American inhabitants of the Greater Antilles at the time of Columbus. "Taivo" is also Native American--meaning "white man" in Timbisha. But the most common mispelling is "Tavio" (like some Italian sausage vendor). (Taivo (talk) 19:58, 13 June 2009 (UTC))
