My RfA was successful, and closed with 44 Supports, 6 Opposes, and 1 Neutral. For your support, you have my thanks - I fully intend to live up to the lofty yet not-a-big-deal responsibility you have granted me. For those who opposed my candidacy, I value your input and advice, and hope that I may prove worthy of your trust. Special thanks to both Rudget and bibliomaniac15 for their expert coaching and guidance. I look forward to serving the project, my fellow editors, the pursuit of higher knowledge, et cetera, et cetera. Again, you have my thanks. Thanks for your vote of confidence! I'm going to have to think about that for a bit and read some of the current RfAs and get a feel for it. I will let you know in about a week! ... discospinster talk 02:24, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Daniel Field

Thank you for correcting the title of the Daniel Field article to the full title of Daniel Field Airport. I didn't know how to go about re-naming an article and appreciate you jumping in and taking care of this needed change. Best wishes. Civilengtiger (talk) 19:22, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Don't take this the wrong way but I think users get 4 warnings before they get blocked (although I see a lot of people skip level 2). I think this has something to do with assuming good faith(that they'll learn by the 4th warning...?) Just thought I would mention it. Oh and if you wanted to know where the templates for warnings are, there here, I use twinkle much faster. Hasta la Pasta--Pewwer42  Talk  02:58, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the revert on my userpage

Hi NHRHS, just wanted to drop you a quick thank you for revert my userpage - much appreciated. Gwernol 20:11, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

RFA thanks

Quick question re Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce article

On February 7th, you reverted a rather large chunk of vandalism that was done to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce article. I noticed this because it's an article that's on my watchlist.

When I went back to the history of that page today, I noticed that your change to revert the vandalism by user 99.231.171.146 is included, but the actual incident of vandalism isn't - that is, the change you undid no longer appears in the history.

Out of pure intellectual curiousity, I was just wondering whether that was usually how it works, or was this a special circumstance due to the nature of the vandalism, which I did see back when you did your revert? I thought all history remained visisble, even vandalism.

Thanks in advance. Mlaffs (talk) 19:57, 11 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reverting Vandalism / Rollback Rights

So how are you doing? I heard that Hdt83 recently became an administrator. I want to ask you what type of warning to we put on a user's talk page if they delete warnings. I saw that you got the rollback rights. How does that help you revert vandalism faster? — Preceding unsigned comment added by LADodgersAngelsfan (talkcontribs)

Adminship?

I've seen you around lots of times as a good user, so I would like to nominate you to be an administrator. Would you like to be one or not? NHRHS2010 04:51, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello NHRHS2010, thank you for your kind words but I have already been approached by other users with the interest of nomming me. Thank you though, perhaps I will go up for RfA within a couple of weeks. :-) Take care, friend. ScarianCall me Pat 09:55, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, NHRHS2010, thanks for voting in my RfA, which passed with 47 supports (I hoped for a perfect square, but two away is close enough!), 3 opposes (the first odd prime), and 0 neutrals. I'm glad the community has decided to trust me with the mop and bucket (the flamethrower isn't supported). Of course, special thanks goes to my nominators Auawise and that one guy who buried stuff (not that the thanks I give to the you isn't special!). If you ever need a hand with something, or just want to say hello, tough feel free to drop a line! Best wishes, Nousernamesleftcopper, not wood 23:01, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Warnings

When I put a warning on someone's talk page do I have to put the month and the year (ie: February 2008)? And do IP addresses get to have 4 warnings every month or only 4 warnings? —Preceding unsigned comment added by LADodgersAngelsfan (talkcontribs) 08:57, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

WOW!!!!!!

Well, I can't say I ever expected someone to offer that. It would be nice to be an admin, so if you want to nominate me, I would like that. However, if you did nominate me, I would not be very surprised if I am not elevated, as I have comparitively few edits that are not vandalism reverts. So, yes, I would like to be nominated, and I would be able to survive "rejection", but if it would make you feel bad to see me "rejected", then please, don't nominate me. Again, I cannot say how much it means that you are willing to nominate me. I'd say it's flattering, but that carries the wrong connotation, and I don't know any other way to say what I feel like now. Rollback

How long does it take you to revert vandalism with the rollback feature? Even though I don't have it, my speed continues to get higher and higher. Now I can't revert vandalism within 10-15 seconds, but for longer pages it takes me a litter longer cause I also have to scroll. Hope you would get 15,000 edits soon! LADodgersAngelsfan (talk) 02:38, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

According to Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits, you are ranked 1581 and had 12311 edits on January 20. LADodgersAngelsfan (talk) 10:07, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
