Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Adam Murciano, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Proposed deletion of Adam Murciano

The article Adam Murciano has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Subject appears to fail the notability guidelines at WP:NACTOR - the one role made the most about here appears from the IMDB listing to be a single episode appearance quite low on the cast list. The other acting roles are "extra" or "atmosphere"-type roles.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. I appreciate your desire to protect the article, and deleting the earlier "prod" template was indeed a way to avoid a "prod"-based deletion. However, the article has now been submitted to the "Articles for Deletion" process, and deleting that template will do you no good (and such edit will just be reverted). The best way to fight against the deletion is to go to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Murciano and make your case - a case which is best made in terms of Wikipedia policy. You may particularly want to review WP:NOTABILITY, which has the general requirements for a subject to have an article on Wikipedia, and WP:NACTOR, which deals in specific requirements for someone whose notability derives from acting. --Nat Gertler (talk) 23:51, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
