November 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Darussalam Academy has been reverted.
Your edit here to Darussalam Academy was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.darussalamacademy.blogspot.com) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:48, 16 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

A couple comments edit

Hi, Fluffernutter2! Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I have a couple things that may make things a little easier for you here. They're very minor things, and I'm sure that it'll be no problem.

First of all, every user has both a userpage and a talk page. We're currently on your talk page. When you leave a message for a user, it's better if you leave a message on their talk page (It's the tab that says talk at the top) because it sends an email and creates a banner letting them know that they have new messages. If you leave a note on a user's userpage, they don't get that, unfortunately.

Finally, veteran Wikipedians rely on username to know a user. I noticed your username is very close to another username (User:Fluffernutter) who is an established Wikipedia editor. Now, I'm not asking you to change your username, but could you place a notice on your user page that says something along the lines of:

Note: I am not User:Fluffernutter.

it would help us a lot.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to leave me a message here or leave a note below. Again, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions! ~ Matthewrbowker Say hi! 15:44, 14 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
