Request reason:

Hello, I was trying to edit Wikipedia and I noticed that my account was blocked. I dug into it and found out it was my IP address range that was blocked. I never edited on any of the pages that the bad actors in my IP range did. I rarely edit on Wikipedia, and I would never do this.range: 192.180.128.0/17 Fleoso (talk) 02:33, 19 September 2023 (UTC)

Fleoso, you should be able to edit now! Yamla (talk) 12:41, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Widr: Based on checkuser evidence, it looks to me like this is an innocent user caught up in this range block. Any thoughts on making the block anon-only? There are a few other apparently innocent users in that range, too. --Yamla (talk) 10:08, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Sure, go ahead. Or lift the block entirely if you see fit. Widr (talk) 12:35, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
The abusive user is definitely still around, or was a few days ago. So I just modified the block instead. Thanks, Widr! --Yamla (talk) 12:41, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
