You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.

I do not believe that you are here to build an encyclopedia. I think you are here with an WP:AXE to grind regarding Russian-Kazakh relations in unconstructive ways. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:53, 27 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I was blocked for using official statements (in Russian language, official language in the Kazakhstan) from Ministry Defence in Kazakhstan to propose amendments to the article. No way this should be a reason for permanent blockFl7wless (talk) 20:17, 27 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Per discussion with the blocking admin below. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:04, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

"Official statements" from a government?

edit

Sorry, those don't qualify as reliable, neutral sources. "All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking." --Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:21, 27 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, in my case NBC published an article with false information as if it was given by the officials in Kazakhstan. Ministry of Defense in Kazakhstan simply denied this information with its statement. I also provided sources from two fact-checking organisation in Kazakhstan condemning NBC article as misleading. --Fl7wless (talk) 20:28, 27 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Please, see

All sources are in Russian as was mentioned, but Wikipedia does not prohibit from relying on non-English sources to contradict misleading information. In the talk page, extended-confirmed user (Pigsonthewing) confirmed this

I did not block you for trying to use Russian-language sources. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:47, 27 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Then unblock me. There was no other reason why disinterested administrator would have blocked me, criticism was always allowed on Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fl7wless (talkcontribs) 12:53, February 27, 2022 (UTC)
I blocked you for tendentious editing, especially your edits on Peter Alexander (journalist) and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:21, 27 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Especially? I have no other edits. How can you accuse me of tendentious editing when I have created my account less that month ago? I edited Peter Alexander (journalist) as a consequence of disregarding proposed edit above. I do not see anything wrong with criticism of OSCE, I gave constructive criticism and welcomed everyone else to comment if they have information from third parties
The article you linked says: Rather than accuse another editor of tendentious editing, it may be wiser to point out behaviours which are contrary to Wikipedia policies such as WP:NOR, WP:RS, WP:NPOV, and the 3RR rule. Good job here. A disinterested party would accuse your actions as biased administration and promoting user misinformation.
If another admin wants to respond to your still-open unblock request by unblocking you, that is fine. I am not encouraged by the way you're responding, so I will not be doing so. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:17, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
