Aesopus Morasilatus

edit

I am glad you decided to trim your illustration, it looks much better now. However, your use of the word 'incipit' in the description is not very helpful; few people understand Latin these days. Why not change it to 'introduction'...or 'preface'?

The work is mentioned nowhere in the article and so is of doubtful relevance at present. However, since Francesco del Tuppo's commentary covers political matters, Aesopus Morasilatus forms one more item in the chain stretching from Phaedrus to the 20th century of works adapting Aesop's fables for this purpose. Really the article needs a new section covering this use and I'll write it when I have time. Thanks for drawing my attention to the work. Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 09:15, 24 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Plato

edit

Hi Federico. Thanks for your note about the Plato article additions I made a long time ago! Presumably you're referring to Cadame's book and Nightingale's book in the notes -- I guess you were referring to. Best wishes. --- (Bob) Wikiklrsc (talk) 04:45, 13 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Einstein: You're welcome but I'm confused

edit

I got your thanks for an edit to the Albert Einstein article but am a bit confused. That material was added to the Albert Einstein in popular culture article by an anonymous user and all I did was to move it to the main article. It appears from the history that the material was deleted soon after that anyway, so I'm not sure what the thanks is for seeing as the material is no longer in WP. Perhaps you were trying to thank someone for a different edit and got mine by mistake? --RDBury (talk) 13:35, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Newton article: your acknowledgement

edit

Hi Federico -- thank you for your acknowledgement. I mainly did some editing on the Isaac Newton article (and related things) some years ago now: I'm glad you found the content interesting. I'm not so active in editing recently. I hope you enjoy making your own wikipedia activity. --User:Terry0051 19:46, 27 October 2015 (UT)

Wikimedian in residence dates

edit

Hello. I'm updating the outreach:Wikipedian in Residence. Is it correct for your WiR position? In particular, is there a defined end date? I've used the current table info to update Federico Leva (Q61957671) so that I can automate the WiR table (in progress). T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 06:29, 27 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
