Re:Kazi Nazrul Islam

edit

It is a pleasure and honor to learn that it is you, Dr. Farooq - your work has been used as a source in the article. Welcome to Wikipedia!

I had no intention to un-do your edits. The article on Kazi Nazrul Islam is a featured article, which means it is one of the best. The only problem with a few of your edits is that when you add fresh information, you must provide citations with reliable sources. Also, a few of your sentences (for example, your sentence about Nazrul's criticism of Islam) had several weasel words. These policies apply for all articles, so please be careful.

Anything you may wish to add will be most welcome. Again, I apologize for not explaining the problems with a few of your edits beforehand. Once again, you are most welcome to Wikipedia! Rama's arrow 22:59, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

A featured article simply means that it is one of the best articles on Wikipedia. It remains free for anyone to edit, but obviously you can understand that the high quality must not be compromised by fresh edits. Reverting is also open to anyone but should be done with good reason and not randomly.
If you open any section of the article, you will see notes starting like "ref name=" at the end of several sentences - this is the particular citation that is displayed in the "Notes" section. Visit the page WP:CITE, which explains how to cite information. For each sentence/fact that needs to be cited, one can fill in the referencing right after the sentence using the {{cite}} template (which formats the info on lines of author, publication date, pages, isbn, etc.) - precise instructions can be found on the WP:CITE page.
Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding. Your presence and contributions are most welcome here. Rama's arrow 23:30, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
