Hello Fanaticdragon,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Knight Legends for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Odie5533 (talk) 02:30, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Knight Legends edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Knight Legends, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ⁓ Hello71 03:25, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Knight Legends edit

Hi. I wanted to reply to you here because the article is probably going to be deleted soon. The reason the article is being deleted is because it only contained advertising material for the game. Wikipedia generally tries to create articles from a neutral point of view and articles should not simply promote the subject. The other reason the article is being deleted is that the content of the article was copied and pasted from here. Wikipedia articles should all be written by the authors and not copied from other sources. If you are interested in creating an article on Wikipedia, I highly recommend you go to WP:AFC. Once there, you will be walked through creating your first article with people checking to make sure everything is done correctly so that your article won't get speedy deleted like has happened here. I hope you do continue to edit, and one of my favorite types of articles on Wikipedia are video game ones. I've written video game articles myself and would be glad to assist you in writing them. If you have any other questions about editing here, please leave me a message on my talk page. --Odie5533 (talk) 03:36, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, it looks like the article will probably be speedy deleted so I would not continue editing there. That does not need to be the end of the line for Knight Legends though. But before you create an article, you need to determine if the subject is notable or not. Only subjects that are notable are allowed articles on Wikipedia. What you should do at this point is go to the Help Desk and say that you want to create a new article but need help finding out if it is notable. Once you are sure that having an article on Knight Legends is acceptable on Wikipedia, then you can go to WP:WIZARD and create the article. Do go to the help desk though and ask. It should only take a minute or so to write up your question, and creating articles can be very rewarding. It gets easier as you go as well. Let me know if you need any other help or have questions about how to proceed. --Odie5533 (talk) 04:40, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
