Disambiguation link notification

Hi. When you recently edited Methods for comparing top chess players throughout history, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Adams (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

JWs by country

Thanks for identifying the problem with the values for the Palestinian Territory. There was an extra space on the end of the country name in the Excel source I used, which stopped it matching correctly. This has been fixed. There were no problems with figures for Malaysia or any other countries.--Jeffro77 (talk) 13:44, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

OK. Resolved. Thanks as well. --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 15:17, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Creating user pages

Normally, a user page should be created only by the user it applies to. There are some exceptions, such as creating a user page for an inexperienced user who has asked for it to be done (though even there, I think it is more helpful to explain to the user how to do it for themself, so that they know for the future how to create pages) but to do it without any indication that the user wants it done is questionable. OK. I will not do that next time. However, I have great doubts whether it is really wrong according the Wikipedia guidelines. Maybe non-standard, but certainly not forbidden. --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 15:22, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 6

Hi. When you recently edited Demographics of the Czech Republic, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page No religion (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thanks for inform me, but I will not change that link to some other one, since the definition of the subject "No religion" is highly vague. The other suggested articles in 'disambiguation page' could be applied both. I prefer to keep this variation. If some editor would like to change that, so let he/she do it. Categories

I noticed on my Watch List that you added the Noindex category to your User page. This is unnecessary. It is a special category that is automatically applied to all User pages.--Jeffro77 (talk) 01:58, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Which one? --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 13:15, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
"Noindexed pages".--Jeffro77 (talk) 16:07, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
So, now is doubled for sure that no index by Google and similar spyiers will really work. --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 16:38, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Anyway, I don't believe in that. --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 13:15, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure why you're saying you "don't believe in that". However, you can read the description given at Category:Noindexed pages, which states that "This category is added automatically by the MediaWiki software".--Jeffro77 (talk) 16:07, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
I had doubts about that automatic function is working. It saw that like proclamation (= only a proclamation) of noindexing user pages. --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 16:38, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Wow. Sorry, but that sounds really paranoid.--Jeffro77 (talk) 16:47, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
It is your POV, hence I have to accept the existence of such opinion as POV. Although this is interesting topic on personal matters in the internet, Your opinion is not important here. I prefer to close this unnecessary and unwelcome debate. WP:NOT#CHAT. Have a nice day. --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 17:10, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
I offered friendly advice about an automatic category, and you responded with weird suspicions about the Wiki software engine. I don't get it. If you don't believe the category automatically works, why would you believe it works if you add it manually?
I had a few beers last night before making the 'paranoid' comment, so I apologise for that.--Jeffro77 (talk) 03:30, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Also, WP:NOT#CHAT states, "You can chat with people about Wikipedia-related topics on their user talk pages, and should resolve problems with articles on the relevant talk pages, but please do not take discussion into articles."--Jeffro77 (talk) 03:38, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

I did not know that Australians drink beer (not 'bears') as well. :)) I assume that you learn such habit perhaps during your vacation in the Czech republic. How much beers did you get done? Moreover, I am sure that you actually know that, JWs actually could drink alcohol, including wine, beer, liqueur, etc. Only 'drunkenness' - 'repetitive' in long-term and 'intentional' could 'over time' lead to 'rebuke' and eventually, if such individual is not 'repenting' (=changing their mind and behaviour back to proper non-drunkenness way) will be applied 'expulsion'. This protection system inside congregation is not unique for JWs, but is rather standard rule in most religions. 'Extremely liberal' thinking which constantly overlook and allow such behaviour within members is very rare, if any. --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 09:02, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Beer is very popular in Australia. I am familiar with the official JW position about alcohol. I also know that while abuse of alcohol among JWs may not be very common, neither is it "very rare".--Jeffro77 (talk) 09:31, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
My last two sentences was about comparative religions. Not only to JW specifically. // Which brand(s) of beer Australians usually drink? Which one you? --FaktneviM ♥ (talk) 10:01, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
There are many popular beers in Australia. Different beers are more popular in different areas. Maybe see Beer in Australia#Brands by region. I prefer pale lagers.--Jeffro77 (talk) 11:13, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
