• Tool of the week
  • wdumps allows you to create a limited RDF dump from Wikidata, for those times when your SPARQL queries keep timing out. It is not particularly user-friendly, and it typically takes several hours to get a complete dump, but it is the best way to for example get a list of all English names of humans in Wikidata, or a list of every scientific article with its title and DOI.

Week 2/ Evaluate and Copyedit Article/ Totent

The article I evaluated is Chimelong Paradise. It is rated as a stub-class article that requires more information. Based on the training, it should be a good article to work on. I see many places that need to be improved, but for this week, I only corrected spelling and punctuation. I will try to update the page more as we proceed through each week's training.

My key takeaway from this week's assignment is how to evaluSate article based on its source and tone. Articles should have a neutral point of view and include only credible sources.

Week 2 / Evaluate and Copyedit Article / Yifeng Li

The article I evaluated is Ggplot2. It’s rated start-class for both related WikiProjects. Since it’s a visualization tool in statistics software, I found it does not include adequate pictures. And some content should be in a new line but it doesn’t. Also, some content appears unrelated.
