I'm Surya, and I noticed that you're new/you've been here a while, but no-one's welcomed you yet, so I thought I'd drop you a note. We do have a lot of users, and are currently working on 6,824,280 articles, so things can be a little intimidating... but don't worry! We love to help out, and we'll try our best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.

You should sign your name on talk pages, discussions and votes by typing ~~~~; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date. Also, if you don't want to jump right into editing articles right now, why not check out the sandbox? Feel free to make test edits there.

I know it's a lot of information, but there are two more things I recommend you take note of while editing Wikipedia - cite references wherever possible, and avoid allowing personal biases interfere with your editing.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian - I definitely do. Although we all make mistakes, please keep in mind what Wikipedia is not. I have reverted most of your edits to that page because they are not consisten with Wikipedia style. For example, changing {{main|Odie}} to See [[Odie]] was unnecessary because the "main article" template is considered standard. Similarly, changing Garfield (character) to Garfield was a mistake because Garfield is a disambiguation page - see, for example, James Garfield. However, do not despair! Orphaned non-free image (Image:Fetch with Ruff Ruffman.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Fetch with Ruff Ruffman.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Commercial use of Image:Fetch with RuffRuffman.gif

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Black people, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Einstein's accomplishments‎

I have to agree with Corvus. It seems like you're cutting from the main article on Einstein and pasting that into the Einstein's accomplishments page then creating links at all the spots where you moved the content. Any reason in particular? Jsmith86 (talk) 22:00, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
