Hi wia, my edit was neutral because there is no discussion about this point in Germany (from an objective point of view, it's simply correct). From German article: "Als in der Verlängerung der zweite Feldverweis für einen Nürnberger folgte und dann noch der FCN-Spieler Luitpold Popp als verletzt und spielunfähig gemeldet wurde, was die Mannschaft auf nunmehr sieben Spieler reduzierte, pfiff Schiedsrichter Peco Bauwens das Spiel zur zweiten Halbzeit der Verlängerung nicht mehr an. Wie sich später herausstellte, war das eine Fehlentscheidung des Unparteiischen. Laut Regelwerk musste ein Spiel zwar abgebrochen werden, wenn eine Mannschaft weniger als acht Spieler auf das Spielfeld bringen konnte, jedoch hätte der Abbruch nicht während der Pause erfolgen dürfen[3], da diese gemäß Regel 5 nicht zum Spiel gehörte." Free translation: "Rules said that the match has to be abandoned, if one team has less then 8 players – but the abandonation mustn't be during the break because according to rule #5 the break is no part of the match."
