Hi. When you recently edited Le Conquet radio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Adieu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Adieu is French for farewell; in Occitan, the same word is both a farewell and a salutation. --F1jmm (talk) 11:36, 22 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Colourised images

edit

Please do not add colourised images, as you did here. They constitute a form of original research, which has no place in an encyclopedia. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:17, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Colorized images

edit

Hi. I appreciate all the work you've done on Commons. Your colorized photos look really well done, and are a valuable addition. But Wikipedia does not allow the use of colorized black & white historical photos in articles as here, see MOS:IMAGES. I think the idea is that the added color is original research, and readers should see the photos in their authentic historical state. Also, I feel we don't want to give uninformed readers the idea that color photography was the only kind there was, or that it was in use back in the 1800s. Thanks. --ChetvornoTALK 17:19, 14 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
