Another random question, would James Bond be convicted by God? 'The Ninjalemming' 13:02, 17 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Caught your show on Lemming's talk page. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that God has better things to do than convict James Bond for his libido. :P After all, for a start, if you believe God created us all (do you? I'm not totally sure), then you should also believe that Bond is how he was meant to be (or would be, were he real) and therefore, God cannot punish him for acting out on his libido that God gave him (and yes, I'm fully aware that this mode of thinking would also apply to murderers, so I don't hold to it).
Secondly, what do you think about Judas Escariot? Personally, I think he's sipping martinis (shaken, not stirred) with Jesus up in Heaven. And in case you're curious, yes, I am a Christian. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 10:05, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I was going on the lines of it was predestined. If Judas hadn't betrayed Jesus, then Jesus' life was a waste of time. I don't think Judas could possibly be punished in the slightest for being pushed into what he did. If he was punished, then God's a bit of a bastard and doesn't deserve anyone's worship. Also, Jesus died to wipe the slate clean for everyone. At the time, Judas was still alive. Therefore, his slate was wiped too. Fundamentalist religion fail. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 16:02, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
No problem. I have difficulty explaining things sometimes. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 16:01, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Actually the reason I was asking was because (and do not laugh) I actually want to join MI6 when I leave Uni (and the police force, no sorry, service (stupid political correctness)); so was just wondering if I would be convicted (there would obviously be ALOT less fornication, if any at all. It wasn't generally the debate on James Bond, but could he redeem himself latter in life anyway? Oh and even though I've said I want to join MI6, that would be in eleven years minimum (making me 27, although I'm actually closer to my 17 birthday than 16), and Jade only knows my first name, no one else does anyway (or though knowinng my full name wouldn't really matter if I'm honest). Eh? what advice did Ace give me? and would I be convicted? 'The Ninjalemming' 14:03, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh right, it was another guy! Why can I never find any one to help :( 'The Ninjalemming' 14:51, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm not so sure that my talk page is a great place to discuss this. Lemming, if you stay faithful in Christ then you have nothing to worry about.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 16:38, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Navigation bar edit

How do i get the top bar you have on your page?TaRiX oF tAjUn 15:43, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

It's a template. See the line {{User:Ezekiel of Howdypedia/TopBar}} at the top of the page when you're editing? That marks it as a template. The source is here. Copy the coding to wherever you want (for simplicity, something like User:(Your User Name Here)/NavBar) and alter to your liking. Then, place {{User:(Your User Name Here)/NavBar}} to the top of your page. And voila, you're done. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 16:01, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it was. He was asking how to get the top bar onto his page. That's what I helped him with. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 10:58, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, I semi-helped him with his signature too now. :P --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 16:55, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your topbar... edit

You might want to consider fixing the redirect for your topbar (and whatever else used to be a User:Ezekiel of Howdypedia, as those redirects are just taking up serverspace right now (and may cause you future problems should they be deleted)... - Adolphus79 (talk) 18:48, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Lack of Sleep edit

As Lemming said, I now have broadband. However, I also simply had nothing to do, but it was around one in the morning when I noticed the time. I woke up twelve and a hour hours later, making up for a horrible lack of sleep the previous night. But you're right. If I get distracted by something shiny, I forget to eat or sleep. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 13:56, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah Jade, it's BARnstar not branstar; sounds like a type of cereal. And why did you put 'sigh it now' on my barnstar zeke? 'The Ninjalemming' 17:59, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
What are you talking about? Idid no such thing. Can you not read man!--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 15:14, 5 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Check this, you may like to leave a comment. But check the link from my barnstar and view both mine and the example you have; there different. Why that be? =S 'The Ninjalemming' 19:43, 5 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Aha, you are correct. I did change the wording on the barnstar but apparently I forgot to change the one I had on my guestbook page. Thanks for the tip!--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 13:01, 6 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please note that your other ESPN player photos have also been deleted as copyright violations. (ESkog)(Talk) 15:37, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

You uploaded the files correctly. The problem is that you didn't hold the rights to the image. Except for very specific exceptions, you should only upload images you created yourself. Most stuff you find online is still owned by whoever made it, even if they post it to the Internet. (ESkog)(Talk) 15:42, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

You can definitely ask - it'd be great if they would release some of those images. However, my experience is that they won't be willing to do that. (ESkog)(Talk) 14:50, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, I hate being right. But there is some good news. Check for images taken by folks which have been uploaded to Flickr or similar sources. Not everything on Flickr is free, but many users choose to release their images under a Creative Commons license. Some of those can be uploaded over here - just make sure you don't take anything marked "non-commercial" or "no derivatives". (ESkog)(Talk) 20:02, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
See where that image says "some rights reserved"? If you click on that, it'll show you a detailed license for the image. That particular image says "NC" meaning non-commercial, which unfortunately doesn't work for us. You're looking for images released under a Creative Commons license, but not NC (non-commercial) or ND (no-derivatives). (ESkog)(Talk) 01:00, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

We prefer that free images be uploaded to Commons, but don't worry about it. If you put it up here, and someone wants it for another project, they can also do the work to move the image over to Commons. (ESkog)(Talk) 15:14, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

User Page edit

I answered your question. Took a while, but I am just that awesome. >.> --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 23:57, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

YOu are correct, I'll give you the barnstar but I'd like just a little bit more help. Now that this is out of the way, do you think we can align my other hidden things to the right so they are beside my info box. I'd really hate to be a pain in the ass but I like having a complicated user page.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 23:59, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Urgh! :P Sure, I'll get it done in a few minutes. Just be warned that I'm scared of my coding. It works, but I think it looks awful. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:05, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ha, sorry, your a life saver though. I appreciate your help. Well I'm out for the night. See you tomarrow.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 00:07, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's taking longer than I thought because I messed up dreadfully, but I will get it done. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:16, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I had to remove the Wikitable with the service award. It wouldn't work properly with it. This is, unfortunately, making me worried about the next Wikitable I encounter (I only have a single plan). --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:31, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Damn it! Sorry, I can't figure out the Favourite Things section. There's something in the coding that objects to mine (even if I delete all the coding). It keeps merging into the next one. I'll keep trying but I'm going to go to bed soon. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:54, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh (explicit)! I said to the right?! That makes me feel so idiotic! I am such a dumbass. I told you to the right when I actually meant to the left so that they were next to each other. I can't believe I wasted your time! Look, I don't want to bother you anymore Jade, so please only work on this when there is absolutely nothing else you have to do. Thanks!--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 12:44, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
(stony silence) I will kill you and eat your soul. Your soul. :P (sighs) Okay, can you explain what you mean clearly again, just in case you messed up again. xD --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 14:20, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Trust me Jade, after this I hate myself just as much as you hate me. What I mean was that the other hidden crap would be alligned to the left, but longer than the infobox bar so it will extend over to the info box (not all the way of course). This would leave plenty of room for the other stuff, such as my favorite things and user boxes, to fit. Please if you don't understand, just tell me.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 14:25, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I think I understand. I've made a small edit to your user page. Is that what you mean? And I don't hate you at all. You're one of the more friendly people I meet here and, disregarding the vandals and trolls, that's saying a lot. Everyone makes mistakes. I've made far worse ones and may be in the process of making a three-month-long large mistake right now (not Wikipedia related though). --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 14:32, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Absolutely correct, the only thing I ask is that the width is increased so it will exted all the way over to the inforbox, but not "all" the way. See what I mean?--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 14:36, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

← That do? --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 14:40, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

(Sigh) Not quite. Hmm...how do I explain this. Here, imagine that my intro and "Zeke's Current Problem weren't there, And I will move them to below the hidden bars later anyways. So now the only thing below my topbar is hidden stuff is it possible to have two bars next to each other...you know what? Strike that! Let's get rid of the hidden infobox so it is always visible. Then have the hidden bars right next to the info box! Boy I am a genius.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 14:45, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I see. Done. I'd leave the intro and Zeke's Current Problem where they are for a while though. I want to bludgeon this coding first. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 14:52, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Are you sure? Beacuse all I want is to unhide my infobox so its always visible but make the other bars not over lap it but be beside it, thats all.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 19:58, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
There's the infobox done. I'm going to give another go at chainsawing the code for the Favorite Things. If I can't get it done, I'll call it. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:10, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I've decided to skip the Favorite Things for now. As you can see, I also had to delete the wikitable for your userboxen to get the coding to work and they now merely go straight down the page when unhidden. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:18, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I see, well you don't need to make the hidden bars so small! Make them so they expand all the way over to the infobox, just don't overlap it. Wouldn't that help?--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 20:26, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps I confused you when I asked if we could have 2 in one row, because I said "strike that", which means forget it. As in I changed my mind. As in we can make it so there is just one in each row. Dear lord I am a true pain.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 20:31, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) I've done all I can, in incremental edits so that, if you don't like any particular part of it, you can tell exactly what I changed in what section. The last two boxes don't make nice with my coding though (and there's no real reason they should, since I scavenged said coding from four or five different templates and created Frankenstein's template...). I'll contact xeno for you, get him to come along and have a look. And I did what you asked. I make the infobox visible and put them next to it. (points) :P I have actually already tried that. It makes the screen look bonzo. I'll make a diff to show you in a second. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:36, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's either this or this. Neither of which look nice. Urgh. I've been staring at coding for too long. I'm taking a break and asking xeno to help out. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:40, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
