Orphaned non-free media (File:Felix golden sun 2.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Felix golden sun 2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:07, 13 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Long time no see edit

Hey man how's it going, wow you don't have alot of talk page sections. You used to have round 50 if i remember correctly. So what goes on these days in wikipedia? Have I missed much? Cheerio!--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 16:42, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

That's partially because I'm less active, and partially because I made the bot archive more aggressively. Not too much... The wheels of wikipedia grind on... –xeno (talk) 16:43, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
What do you mean by the bot archive, what's that? Either way, my stockpile of Beatles music is complete and life is good. The Wheel in the Sky keeps on turning as "Journey" once said. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ezekiel 7:19 (talkcontribs) 18:15, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
There is a bot that archives my talk page, before I told it to leave at least 25 threads, now I let it go down to 10. –xeno (talk) 18:18, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ah I see, If only I were fortunate enough to know how to use a bot on Wikipedia, let alone program it. Cheerio!--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 19:53, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's pretty easy, just see the instructions at User:MiszaBot/Archive HowTo. Let me know if you need help after that. =) –xeno (talk) 19:54, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
OK, will do thanks. Cheerio!--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 16:07, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Just one question, well actually two. Which template should I use for the Archive thing (because i do use an archive)? Also, what other bots do you recommend for a person like me? Thanks!--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 16:33, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I use {{archivebox}}. You could also use the User:HBC Archive Indexerbot if you like. –xeno (talk) 16:35, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Any other bots you would like to reccomend? I like recieving advice from admins, let alone befriending them (which I did back when that whole sig debate happend). Anyways if there is others you like than that would be great. Thanks and Cheerio!--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 14:03, 12 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
hehe, that's all I can think of other than like, newsletter delivery bots (if you wanted the WP:SIGNPOST delivered to your page, for example). if you're interested, you might look into AutoWikiBrowser which is like a bot you control to fix article issues such as typos, links to disambiguation pages, etc. Very powerful tool. –xeno (talk) 14:20, 12 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
