Welcome to the PCP! edit

Thanks for joining the Pokémon Collaborative Project! We hope you have a great time editing Pokémon articles. If you have any questions about the articles, style, content, or simply what our favourite Pokémon are (our opinions vary, trust us!), leave a message on the project talk page. Cheers, and happy editing! -Amarkov blahedits 02:46, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

hi! edit

welcome to wiki, and especially welcome to the PCP. Its always nice to get new memebers who are interested in taking part in the discussions. User:Celestianpower is the project's admin, but we also have another User:A Man In Black (aka AMIB) who is also always buzzing about. These two can be very helpful when discussing wikipolicy. CelestianPower has often mentioned that the guidelines aren't set in stone and if you want to go and make change to be bold. If it's something that goes against policy or wikiguidelines it will prolly be reverted, and then the next step would be to bringing it to the talk page for consensus. However, very significant changes (like the lead section) are prolly best brought to the group's attention first. Coincidentally, i was thinking you might like to weigh in on the discussion here. I'm unsure of how long you've been contributing (we were all anons at some point) so i don't know how much experience you have with templates but i'm sure you could provide a fresh look at the specific proposition. Happy editing! -Zappernapper 13:06, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

thanks for giving some input regarding the plan to facilitate continuity between pokemon species articles. I've responded to your opinions and am interested if you still have objections to the idea of templates. You said that you looked over some random pages - i'd like to invite you to view the examples listed at Template talk:PokePage along with reviewing the histories of the Eevee evolutions (excluding DP) so that you might better appreciate the scope of this problem. Adios! -Zappernapper 16:49, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Demographics edit

This is ARSNL about Pokémon. I'd kile very much to know why you removed the demographics theat I worked so hard to assemble from every Johto city. If I don't hear from you soon, I'll put them back on. ARSNL 18:01, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I replied over on your Talk Page ~e.o.t.d~ 18:29, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Alright, I guess I can see your point. Thanks for replying. :) ARSNL 05:19, 12 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

actually... learnt is fine... edit

I'm not going to change it b/c it doesn't really matter, and if you want to take the time to change them all throughout wikipedia or even the pokemon articles... more power to you. Take a look at American and British English differences#Verbs for more info on it. I suppose since t irregular verbs are uncommon in America I should try to not use them (i actually make a point of rm British English from the pokemon articles), but it's probably my regional dialect or something my family has a habit of... or maybe it's because I've been reading things by classical english authors lately - i dunno. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 15:38, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:POKE is doing some housecleaning edit

This notice is to inform you that because many people have added their names to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants but do not seem to be active, all names are being deleted in an effort to find out who is still truly interested in the project. All you have to do is re-add your name if you'd still like to be considered a member of WP:POKE. Any questions, you can contact me on my talk page. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 17:39, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:032Nidoran (M).png) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:032Nidoran (M).png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:49, 24 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
