Potential Articles

• 1st Armored Division (United States)
  • This one would be tough. There are some people who have fixed some of the issues since those tags were added. You could come in and do a bit more, I suppose. But to alleviate the specialized tag would take some conversation about the level of info that is appropriate and I don't think we can count on that convo going quickly enough for our purposes.
• Alistair (Dragon Age)
  • This one might be interesting. It's written like a video game itself when it should look like a fictional character article. Hasn't been touched much. I think you could do it.
• Afro-Brazilian feminism
  • An interesting challenge. You could actually grab some bits of content from the Portuguese article using Google Translate and modifying the language to fit normal English (the content there of relevance is just the brazil section). But the whole thing needs a revamp based on the info here. You'd have to learn a bit about the topic though to do it well. Do-able though.
• 3D sound synthesis
  • Some interesting tasks to do here. Note that another editor just did a pass on some of the issues a month ago and might still be around. It seems like things are still a bit too technical and you might need to figure out what would be a more sensible way of organizing this. There are also some basic tasks like linking the article out that need to be done.
• Animatronics
  • Another good one, I think, but also with some challenges. The conversation in the Talk page has a lot for you to work with so read it carefully -- including someone wondering about whether or not they need so many layers of sections (I don't think they do). There is a problem here with too many facts disjointed together rather than information organized to explain the topic.
