Edits to Domestic violence article edit

Hello Exactly, I see that you made some edits to the Domestic violence article. While I don't disagree with the points you're making, the verbiage needs to be in synch with the article. The original verbiage was written with "mother" (victim) and "his" (abuser), so I'm guessing that the original contributor of this information wouldn't have changed a general statement to one that was specific to violence against women.

Two questions:

  • Do you know if the article is written about abuse in the home against both spouses (I cannot access the file)?
  • If not, the next step is to find a source (and I'm sure that there must be one out there), that discusses the effect of domestic violence against a parent (either mother or father).

For the moment, I'm going to add a "citation needed" template to the changed verbiage.

I'm happy to help out if you'd like. Thanks!--CaroleHenson (talk) 15:22, 9 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

I saw the recent edit to the domestic violence article, so I thought I'd run a quick search and see what came up. Here's an article that mentions violence against the "parent", it's a governmental agency site - so I cannot see how there'd be a problem with the source. You may want to take a look at the article to see what you think. Since it's a U.S. governmental agency, I'm going to use it for the Domestic violence in the United States article.--CaroleHenson (talk) 01:35, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Edits to Duluth model edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Duluth model appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this. Rottweiler edit

Hello, what's up with this edit? You made some reasonable edits to the article and then added some nonsense in the first edit that I linked. Please make sure that your account is under your control at all times. Graham87 14:37, 26 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Don't know where the nonsense came from. I think I had better change my password. Please note that I am an expert on this Breed.

Re: Rottweiler edit

I didn't add that tag; it was added by Cameron Scott. Go talk to him about it. I don't think that people who are heavily invested in articles are the best people to make those sorts of judgements about their own work. By the way, I moved your comment from User talk:Graham87/Import. Comments should go on a user's main talk page, and please sign them with four tildes like this: "~~~~". Rottweiler edit

Hi, I'm surprised you have marked my edit as 'vandalism' when you have reverted it. If you check you will find I un-did the addition of the words 'who cares' which had been inserted in place of the wording about the tail being traditionally docked - hence my edit summary 'revert silliness'. Please try to take care as to what you mark as vandalism. Thank you. SagaciousPhil - Chat 13:32, 15 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
