Duplicate images uploaded edit

Thanks for uploading Image:EvoTerra.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you uploaded the same image twice: as Image:EvoTerra.jpg and also as Image:Evo250.jpg. The latter copy of the file has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 01:32, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Podiobook edit

A tag has been placed on Podiobook, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Podiobook is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Podiobook saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. --Alan Au 16:13, 18 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you disagree with the deletion you can open a review of the deletion at WP:DRV and present your evidence why this should not have been deleted there.--Isotope23 01:46, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Joe Murphy image edit

Thanks for your additions to the article on Joe Murphy, especially the upload of Image:JoeTribCrop.jpg. Is there a version of the image without the text on it, though? One of the biggest pushes behind the effort to delete Joe's page was the perception that it was a memorial page, and while I like the text for the emotional effect, it helps to push the perception that the article is memorial rather than encyclopedic. - Fordan 15:52, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:JoeTribRawCrop.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:JoeTribRawCrop.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:08, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey Evo, I see you updated Image:JoeTribRawCrop.jpg with a description change indicating you hold copyright to the picture. One thing that would probably help is for you to say what license you're offering it under. Assuming you want it under the same license as the original Image:JoeTribCrop.jpg you uploaded, you should edit Image:JoeTribRawCrop.jpg to replace the {{untagged|month=April|day=21|year=2007}} with {{cc-by-sa-2.5}}. I'd have done it, but didn't think it was appropriate for me to say how you wanted it licensed. - Fordan (talk) 06:25, 24 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:JoeTribRawCrop.jpg was Speedily Deleted by Steel359 since it lacked licencing information for 7 days (category Image 4 under the Criteria for Speedy Deletion). If you could upload a new copy to the same location with licensing information provided, that would be great. If/when you do so, you might want to get rid of the older image you put up at Image:JoeTribCrop.jpg. You can do this by editing that page and adding {{db-author}} to the top to indicate that you as the author would like it deleted. Let me know if you have any questions. - Fordan (talk) 21:33, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mike and Summer edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad to see our work paid off and the article on Joe got to stay. Let's hope Podiobooks will get a fair chance too next time around.

I added an infobox to Mike's article, but it needs more info and a picture. Also on the to-do list: an article on Summer and possibly some of the other members of the Farpoint family. I will gladly do it, but again need mostly biographical info. --dllu 21:42, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Asking for help edit

Hi Evo, I have been working on reviving the Farpoint Media article which went under in an AfD when I wasn't looking. What I need help on is building this article to demonstrate notability. For podcasting notability, there have been a few simple requirements laid out here Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Podcasting. If you, or any of your associates might help add to the article with a few simple refs, we can get the Farpoint Media article back up and running. Thanks in advance, and welcome! -Kukini hablame aqui 13:18, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • More help is needed here: Wingin' It, as an editor has requested third party sources. We need help in getting them added, as this is important to wikipedia's notability standards. --Kukini hablame aqui 13:41, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:EvoTerra.jpg edit

The file File:EvoTerra.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:03, 3 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
