Image problem edit

What are you talking about? I removed the TNT text from the image. The fact that the picture of some woman is still there is irrelevant, it may as well have been a picture of a famous actor or product - taking pictures of the ad does not violate copyright laws. See for example Image:3ad.jpg, a free (GFDL-self) image. I don't really understand what the issue here is. What are you trying to say? Moreover, how do you know so much about copyright law if you yourself had image copyright problems on Wikipedia? -- Ynhockey (Talk) 18:07, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm not talking about copyright, but about the irrelevance - I just don't think that this picture belonged there. Besides, you did photoshop the ad out? This escaped my mind, I'm sorry. Etams 18:11, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Flag icons in Nobel lists edit

Thank you for your contribution to Nobel Peace Prize. However, there have been many discussions and edit wars about the flag icons in the Nobel lists and the conclusion was that flag icons should not be included. Please see Talk:Nobel Peace Prize for details, as well as Talk:Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine and Talk:Nobel Prize in Chemistry. –panda (talk) 16:49, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
