Question re: edit quality edit

Sorry to bother you, but your first edits are extremely well done for a new editor. Can you tell me if you are using a secondary account, and if you are, why? Thanks. --Wikiwatcher1 (talk) 01:05, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re. logged out history of Talk:Dominique Strauss-Kahn sexual assault case, ie [1],
Another user discovered that the results are different in "Firefox" to "Internet Explorer".
I can now,
I've logged this as a bug, which you can see at https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29220
Hopefully, we'll get an answer there. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  18:17, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fixed; apparently, some odd technical glitch with the Squid cache, which was resolved by the Wikimedia tech team.  Chzz  ►  03:01, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Banon and Nagy edits in Dominique Strauss-Kahn sexual assault case edit

Hi Esthertree.

Did Wikiwatcher1 ever give you an explanation of why he deleted your content. I can't see any. It seems to me that if he accepts your edits were extremely well done, as he apparently does, then he ought to give some solid ground for blanking your content. Is there any real basis for his suggestion that you are operating a secondary account? You could have cut your teeth as an IP contributor or simply be rather more literate and intelligent than Wikiwatcher1 (amongst other things he was content to leave the originating version of this article referring to a certain "Krauss-Kahn"). Are you indeed a newbie i.e. new or relatively new to editing Wikipedia? Did you feel badgered, perhaps even threatened, by his query of you above?

I'm enquiring because I'm monitoring Wikiwatcher1's contribution to this article. If you don't want to get involved don't feel the need to reply. But I am curious and I shall look back here. You may, by the way, respond in French which I read easily though I'm afraid I can't offer to write it. Should you wish to contribute to the article again I at any rate will be glad to support you, though I don't think either the Banon or Nagy case can presently be mentioned without seeking a consensus first on the Talk page. I will be opening a thread on precisely that subject over the next week or so and will let you know when I do if you care to contribute. FightingMac (talk) 10:07, 12 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

(added) On reflection I shan't add a thread on Banon just yet because she has still to be identified unequivocally by the prosection as a subject of interest. If you know of a source which says she has please let me know on my Talk page. FightingMac (talk) 04:23, 13 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
