Advice edit

Hi Eschind. I've had a look at your draft. There are a number of things that need work on them before it can g olive. First, you need some find some references that have PJSC as the subject - WP:CORP requires significant coverage of a company, rather than it being mentioned in passing. There are some references that look good in google books but unfortunately do not provide a readable version, but hopefully you might be able to track down a copy of them. Secondly, everything needs to be referenced to a published source directly - for example

the firm has grown to almost 80 people and been enriched by talented, experienced senior bankers drawn from major Wall Street investment banks. (a couple citations for new hirings are below)

is not ok, as you do not have a reference saying that, and the citations provided need to be synthesised to back up the claim, which is not allowed. You also need to make this neutral - particularly due to your COI - enriched, talented and experienced are not particuarly neutral. Finally, I think it might help to create a separate article on Peter J. Solomon, if you can find sufficient information about him to satisfy WP:BASIC, rather than having a small biography in the main article. I will keep an eye on the draft and provide more guidance if you need it. SmartSE (talk) 13:24, 1 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I think it is clear that PJSC meets WP:CORP so you are ok on that front, but the article still needs some work. Firstly everything needs to be referenced and the majority should be to independent sources. Regarding the books which look like they might be useful - I doubt that you will find them online, so you will need to find a paper copy from somewhere. There is no need to scan it though - just reference it using {{cite book}} and we will assume good faith that it is what the book states. Whilst checking out the article again, I noticed that most of the history section was copy and pasted from here. Whilst you may have permission to use it you should write it in your own words. If at all possible you should find independent sources - they do exist - for example this apparently mentions that he was the Deputy Mayor of Economic Policy and Development (the link only provides an abstract but searching for ""Peter J. Solomon" Deputy Mayor of Economic Policy and Development" in google news archive finds it mentioned). The CNN article already used looks as if it has more useful information. Again though, I think it would probably be better to start an article on him and keep this separate from the company... or possibly write an article about him and have a section about the company. That might be best as he may be more notable than the company itself. I'll try to get back to you more quickly if you have any more questions! SmartSE (talk) 23:05, 25 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
As you've probably noticed, I moved the article live last week after a few more tweaks. Sorry for forgetting to drop you a note. SmartSE (talk) 13:17, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Not sure about that. The predictive search is based on what articles are popular though and it might take a while for the feature to be updated with new articles. SmartSE (talk) 15:19, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
