Swiss Management Center edit

Hi ErrgoProxy. I see that you have proposed the deletion of Swiss Management Center. Unfortunately, the article is not eligible for proposed deletion because it was twice sent to articles for deletion (AfD) in the past. (See debate number 1 and debate number 2). I have therefore undone your proposed deletion.

What you can do is nominate the article for a third time at AfD, although you will have to convince other editors that something has changed since the last debate. If you choose this option, the steps you need to take are explained here. If you have any questions, do let me know. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 19:08, 7 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for the information. Yes i've read the reports from back in 2009 and 2010 and the person who filled them was actually right. I will submit my debate. ErrgoProxy (talk) 06:54, 8 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive editing / WP:OR edit

  Please stop your disruptive editing. Sorry you made edites to the page and removing Government sources (international organizatons) from the said page and now reported me and accusing me of such unregistered links? what is this? You are saying SBFI is not a valid surce and UGW laws inside Switzerland that prohibit specific things. But then you ignore and misunderstood our entire comunication in the talk page and threathen me with block? for what reason you are doing this i do not know. You removed 10 links from Government pages,pdf files that explained everything in details
When i confronted you on why you did this you said it does not apply for hotelier schools, while the whole page covering before your edits private business schools in switzerland.
These files where holding insight on laws for higher education /scholarship /visa in Switzerland and protection of titles and degrees according the Federal law and Canton laws before you editing them out and trying to lock me out of my page. Mind you you have still not provided any source for your claims' and went on a rampage to remove all the evidence from the page.
Fact checking this to any senior editor for review on just what the hell is going on with your edits. ErrgoProxy (talk) 11:55, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

July 2022 edit

  Hello, ErrgoProxy, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Equyl (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. -- RoySmith (talk) 14:43, 23 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Actually the said account was used by me but i lost access to it since then so i made a new account. Thoe i am quite surprised how a user knew some of the information that was discussed by me on Equyl/SunDawn and provided by PierreLsn which was on private chat logs, for which i can only conclude the said report came from a person doing probably the very same thing they accused me of. I think your IT department can also atest to the simple fact that the said account Equyl has not been logged back or used, but given the abusive nature of the account in question they wanted to escalate things, which i am trying to shine some light on it.
Also i would use this opportunity to ask you an advice on who to contact from senior administration. If possible on private wikipedia chat log's or message cause the matter in question is of serious nature. Thank you in advance. ErrgoProxy (talk) 12:44, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
There really isn't any "IT department" or "senior administration"; this is a community run project. The standard way to raise issues which need administrative assistance is to post at WP:AN. If there's something of a confidential nature, you can mail it to any admin by going to their user page and clicking on the "Email this user" in the navigation box on the left margin of the page. For example, Special:EmailUser/RoySmith will send email to me. But if you do use that, keep in mind that I may not reply, and I can't promise I'll keep anything you send me confidential. -- RoySmith (talk) 13:09, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics edit

You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

I haven't made any edits as you implied in your post, and I detest your assumption since it can be verified in the editing history of the page. Furthermore, I've observed that you also refrain from editing the page in question. The only concern from my end was on the Talk page that the news source Kotaku is compromised and of questionable quality since it promotes illegal actions, piracy, and has been banned by a number of industry veterans (Nintendo,Ubisoft, EA) due to leaked information in the past.
The editors on the page have questionable behavior and use editorialized writing for Wikipedia standards. The page in the end got dragged into the drama, that was somehow tried to be avoided. ErrgoProxy (talk) 09:22, 27 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
