License tagging for Image:Johnlake.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Johnlake.jpg. Hi, Eric. I read the article on your father (I'm assuming he was your father), and I'm impressed.

We get a lot of people who create articles on their relatives, and very few of them are as cleanly-written as yours. For that matter, very few of them are actually about relatives who are or were noteworthy.

Incidentally, I've shown the article to some other administrators; they're impressed as well. Could you get some more external references to verify the statements about his career? Printed or online, either will do.

For obvious reasons, links to your planned tribute site won't be suitable as an external reference unless you have scanned images of, say, his press clippings (those, we can't have on here for copyright reasons). DS 00:47, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Page Views

Is there a page view function that let's the creator of a page know how often it is viewed? Ericlake 16:51, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

So far, we do have a tool that will show us the top page views - the first 100. But it really isn't very reliable past the top 20 yet. And, in all frankness, I don't think your father is in the top 20 most-viewed Wikipedia pages. DS 01:41, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
